Edtech startup byteXL has raised $9 million in a funding round led by Elevar Equity, with participation from existing investors Kalaari Capital and the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. The round follows its $5.9 million Series A raised in July 2024. Founded by brothers Karun and Sricharan Tadepalli, byteXL partners with engineering colleges in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities to integrate AI and tech skilling into regular degree programs. The fresh capital will fund tech expansion, student analytics, and institutional growth from 40 to 120 colleges, targeting 5 lakh students across 15 states.
