Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has announced plans to rename SpaceXAI, the artificial intelligence unit associated with his space exploration venture, to SpaceXSI. The decision follows a public remark by US President Donald Trump suggesting that the term Artificial Intelligence, or AI, should instead be referred to as Super Intelligence or Synthetic Intelligence (SI). Musk, who frequently engages with technological naming conventions and policy discourse, indicated his alignment with Trump's proposal. Further technical and operational details regarding structural changes to the entity remain unannounced as the broader industry monitors terminology shifts.
