The combined market capitalization of Indian new-age tech stocks crossed the $170 billion threshold, boosted by the strong debut of enterprise cloud and AI infrastructure firm ESDS Software Solution. ESDS listed at a 74% premium on the BSE and 76.5% on the NSE over its issue price of ₹429, following a 135.9X oversubscription, before hitting its 20% upper circuit. Meanwhile, the broader tech index saw mixed results across 62 other listed companies, with Yudiz Solutions gaining 13% while edtech firm Klassroom fell 15.37% and FirstCry slipped to ₹180.10.
