Gurugram-based fleet management startup Carrum Mobility has built a ₹233 crore business managing thousands of vehicles for ride-hailing giant Uber. Founded in 2024 by former Revv cofounder Karan Jain, Carrum operates a fleet of 5,500 vehicles across Uber Go, Premium, and Uber Black services. The startup, which raised $17 million from Uber earlier this year, remains profitable by bridging the gap for drivers who cannot afford vehicle ownership or maintenance. By managing vehicles and driver partners directly, Carrum taps steady passenger demand without operating its own consumer-facing application.
