E-commerce major Flipkart has acquired a minority stake in global B2B travel tech platform TravClan to bolster international holiday offerings across Cleartrip and Flipkart Travel. TravClan plans to deploy the capital to scale its platform, deepen global supplier relationships, and expand engineering, business development, and operations teams. The startup currently powers outbound travel operations for more than 15,000 travel agents, providing custom itineraries, hotel bookings, and round-the-clock destination support. The strategic investment allows Flipkart to tap into TravClan's direct global supply network to offer curated overseas travel packages for Indian outbound tourists.
