Walmart-owned ecommerce giant Flipkart has acquired a minority stake in Delhi-based B2B travel tech startup TravClan. The strategic investment aims to bolster curated international holiday packages and on-ground support across Flipkart Travel and its subsidiary Cleartrip. Founded in 2018 by Arun Bagaria, Chirag Agrawal, and Ashish Thapliyal, TravClan empowers over 15,000 travel agents to build online operations and book customized packages. The fresh capital will support TravClan's expansion in business development, engineering, destination operations, and global supply partnerships alongside existing backers such as Leo Capital and Cars24 cofounders.
