Walmart-backed Flipkart has launched a microdrama offering on its mobile app by introducing a dedicated Drama section within its new Play tab. The offering features short-form scripted series across genres like comedy, drama, and action, starring actors such as Anupam Kher, Mandira Bedi, and Rasika Dugal. Designed for quick viewing during brief gaps in the day, the content is produced in partnership with creative studios including Terribly Tiny Tales and Pratilipi, alongside Pinkvilla. The move intensifies competition with microdrama platforms such as Kuku TV, ShareChat's Quick TV, and EloTV.
