Walmart-owned ecommerce giant Flipkart has launched a standalone beta app for its quick commerce service, Minutes, on the Google Play Store. Currently accessible to select users in limited pockets of Delhi NCR, the app offers zero platform fees and free delivery on orders above ₹99 across groceries, staples, and gourmet items. Led by Kunal Gupta, Minutes currently operates across 1,000 micro-fulfilment centres in 130 cities, targeting expansion to 1,500 centres across 180 cities. The move comes alongside Flipkart piloting an internal food delivery service named Eat In for employees in Bengaluru.
