Kamaldeep Singh, the former chief executive officer of social commerce startup DealShare, has been appointed as the chief executive officer of Indofast Energy. Indofast Energy operates as a 50:50 joint venture between state-run Indian Oil Corporation and EV battery infrastructure firm SUN Mobility. The venture provides battery-as-a-service solutions across India, combining IndianOil’s national fuel retail network with SUN Mobility’s battery swapping technology. Singh previously served as the chief executive of Big Bazaar and held senior leadership roles at Future Group, bringing over 25 years of extensive consumer business and retail execution experience.
