Bengaluru-based gaming technology startup ARC has raised Rs 10.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Chimera VC and MIXI Global Investments. The round also saw individual participation from Dhruv Vohra, Director at Meta APAC. Founded by Jobin Joseph and Kaustubh K. Jadhav, ARC is building ARC X1, a portable gaming console powered by Qualcomm’s ARM architecture and running its proprietary OWL OS. The fresh capital will be deployed toward hardware engineering, manufacturing setup, supply-chain readiness, and software development. ARC has garnered over 50,000 waitlist sign-ups and is conducting early user testing before its official launch.
