Chennai-based dronetech startup Garuda Aerospace reported a 41.1% increase in net profit to ₹25.9 crore for FY26, up from ₹18.4 crore in FY25. Operating revenue rose 66.8% year-on-year to ₹206 crore, driven by ₹99.4 crore from drone and hardware sales and ₹106.5 crore from Drone-as-a-Service operations. EBITDA grew 31.8% to ₹35.1 crore. Co-founder Agnishwar Jayaprakash credited investments in indigenous R&D, artificial intelligence, and autonomous defense systems. Having received SEBI approval following a confidential pre-filing, Garuda's board has approved raising up to ₹750 crore via a fresh issue in its upcoming IPO.
