Private equity investment in Indian AI startups has tripled since 2024, creating an IPO pipeline that could add between $50 billion and $100 billion to India's listed equity universe over the next few years, according to a Goldman Sachs report. The investment bank noted that 25% to 50% of approximately 70 mid-to-late-stage Indian AI startups could go public, potentially commanding valuations around four times their current private marks. The influx of public listings is projected to significantly diversify the country's public market representation across the broader AI value chain.
