Google Launches Agentic AI Features for Enterprise Gemini Users

Google has introduced agentic artificial intelligence capabilities to its Gemini platform, targeting enterprise business workflows. The updated Gemini agent can independently plan, execute multi-step tasks, and integrate across enterprise software applications and internal databases. To manage complex enterprise operations, the primary agent can delegate specific sub-tasks to specialized AI subagents and orchestrate multiple foundation models simultaneously. Google is also assigning the agent its own workplace identity, including a dedicated enterprise email address, enabling it to communicate with team members, schedule operations, and execute corporate workflows autonomously across productivity suites.
