Google.org Commits $15 Million to The/Nudge to Digitise Indian MSMEs

Google.org has committed $15 million in funding to The/Nudge to accelerate digital adoption and growth across India’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The capital will support the creation of scalable artificial intelligence solutions aimed at improving small businesses' access to formal credit, market discovery, and regulatory compliance. Aligning with India’s national AI roadmap, the initiative will launch an open call for proposals and build a voice-led, multilingual platform. This platform will train local talent in Tier 3 and Tier 4 towns with job-ready skills, directly connecting them to MSMEs.
