Google has announced Gemini 4 Argon, its latest frontier AI model targeting software engineering, cybersecurity, and enterprise knowledge workloads. A major upgrade in Argon is its 1 million token output capacity, up from 64,000 tokens, enabling sustained reasoning across complex workflows. Google reported a state-of-the-art score of 77.9% on the DeepSWE v1.1 software engineering benchmark. The model is priced at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, with cached inputs discounted by 95%. Paid API customers and Google AI Ultra subscribers will receive early access before broader rollout.
