Groww Adds 1 Lakh Active Clients in September, Maintains Top Spot

Stock broking platform Groww strengthened its leadership in India's stock broking ecosystem by adding over 1 lakh active clients in September 2026. According to National Stock Exchange data, Groww reached 1.34 crore active clients, commanding a dominant 29.16% market share. Zerodha retained second position with 67.91 lakh active clients and a 14.73% market share, followed closely by Angel One with 67.55 lakh clients. Meanwhile, discount broker Sahi posted the fastest growth among the top 20 brokers with an 11% monthly increase. Overall, India's active client base expanded marginally to 4.61 crore.
