Groww Asset Management has completed a Rs 580 crore strategic investment from US-based State Street Investment Management following regulatory clearances, including Competition Commission of India approval. The transaction, executed through a combination of primary share subscription and secondary purchase, gives State Street a 23% economic interest and 4.85% voting rights in Groww AMC. Groww AMC's assets under management reached approximately Rs 4,730 crore across 1.2 million investors by mid-2026. The partnership enables Groww to leverage State Street’s institutional capabilities in indexing, exchange-traded funds, quantitative research, and global portfolio construction to expand offerings.
