Groww Widens Brokerage Lead as Angel One Nears Zerodha in September

Active client accounts on the National Stock Exchange rose by 1.6 lakh to 4.61 crore in September, according to exchange data. Market leader Groww expanded its lead by adding 1.01 lakh users, boosting its active base to 1.34 crore with a 29.16% market share. Zerodha lost 5,313 active clients to stand at 67.92 lakh, allowing Angel One, which added 36,956 users to reach 67.56 lakh, to narrow the gap to 35,830 clients. Meanwhile, Dale Vaz-led Sahi emerged as the fastest-growing brokerage, with its user base jumping 11% to 2.53 lakh clients.
