Gujarat-based venture capital firm GVFL has invested ₹30 million in deep-tech startup Edgeverse India Pvt. Ltd. The startup specializes in developing edge AI-based perception technology tailored for mobility and other real-world applications. Edgeverse plans to deploy the fresh capital to accelerate the development of its AI-powered perception stack, with an immediate focus on Advanced Rider Assistance Systems (ARAS) and safety solutions for India's two-wheeler ecosystem. Additionally, the company will expand its capabilities in camera and radar technologies, India-specific road intelligence, and target growth across industrial automation and defence sectors globally.
