Mumbai-based healthtech startup Docterz has raised ₹5 crore from 35 investors, with approximately 20 practising doctors who use the platform contributing nearly 60% of the total round. The round also saw participation from prominent angel investors, including SUGAR Cosmetics co-founder Vineeta Singh and CaratLane co-founder Avnish Anand. Docterz provides an integrated SaaS platform managing electronic medical records, appointments, billing, and vaccinations for over 5,000 doctors. Founded by paediatrician Dr. Atish Laddad, the company plans to use the fresh funds to expand operations organically, evaluate strategic acquisitions, and develop proprietary AI-powered clinical tools.
