Healthtech Platform Docterz Raises ₹5 Crore Backed by Doctor-Users

Mumbai-based healthcare technology platform Docterz, founded by practising paediatrician Dr Atish Laddad, has raised ₹5 crore in fresh funding from approximately 35 investors. Notably, nearly 60% of the total round—amounting to approximately ₹3 crore—was contributed by around 20 doctors who actively use the Docterz platform in their clinical practices. The funding round also saw strategic participation from prominent angel investors, including Vineeta Singh, co-founder and chief executive of SUGAR Cosmetics, and Avnish Anand, co-founder and former chief executive of CaratLane. Docterz provides digital management and workflow tools tailored specifically for medical clinics and healthcare practitioners.
