Mumbai-based healthtech startup Docterz has raised ₹5 crore in fresh funding from around 35 investors. Notably, nearly 60% of the round, or approximately ₹3 crore, was contributed by 20 practising doctors who actively use the platform. The funding round also saw participation from Sugar Cosmetics cofounder Vineeta Singh and CaratLane founder Avnish Anand. Founded by paediatrician Dr Atish Laddad, Docterz provides an integrated electronic medical records and clinic management platform. The startup will deploy the fresh capital to drive organic expansion, explore potential acquisitions, and build AI-powered clinical and administrative workflow tools for doctors.
