Automotive technology company Hero Motors has raised Rs 299.99 crore from anchor investors ahead of its initial public offering. The firm allocated 57.14 lakh equity shares at Rs 84 apiece to institutional investors. Anchor participants include ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, 3P India Equity Fund, Edelweiss Life Insurance, Societe Generale, and ASAS Global Fund. Hero Motors' overall IPO comprises a fresh issue of up to Rs 600 crore and an offer-for-sale of up to Rs 400 crore. The proceeds will fund debt repayment, capital expenditure for facility expansion, and inorganic growth through targeted acquisitions.
