Bengaluru-based HerSpace Manufacturing, an industrial worker accommodation startup, has raised $40 million from existing investor Gray Matters Capital. The capital will be deployed over 30 months across debt, quasi-equity, and equity. The company plans to use the funding to expand its footprint across Greater Bengaluru, Hosur, Chennai, and Andhra Pradesh. HerSpace currently operates over 950 modular beds with a pipeline exceeding 10,000 beds. The startup aims to provide affordable, structured housing for factory workers to lower transport costs and boost employee retention for employers.
