Bengaluru-based homegrown sneaker brand Comet has secured ₹100 crore in a Series B funding round led by Verlinvest. The round saw participation from Elevation Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, and several angel startup founders. Founded in 2023 by Utkarsh Gupta and Dishant Daryani, Comet previously raised ₹42.3 crore in a Series A round in 2024. Comet plans to deploy the capital into expanding physical retail, advancing product research and development, building proprietary sole designs, and scaling technology infrastructure. The footwear brand aims to operate 10 retail outlets by month-end and double that count by FY27.
