F&B investment platform Hotshare is targeting the funding gap in India's restaurant industry by financing outlet-level expansions for profitable brands. According to founder and CEO Lavanya Jayashankar, around Rs 10,000 crore was deployed into Indian food services in 2025, yet nearly 80% of restaurants shut down within five years. Hotshare bridges the Rs 50 lakh to Rs 5 crore investment bracket, backing proven concepts rather than untested ventures. Its portfolio includes Bengaluru burger chain Beyondburg, which scaled from a four-seater kiosk selling 50 burgers daily to six outlets selling 3,000 burgers a day.
