Indian dronetech major ideaForge returned to profitability in Q2 FY27, posting a net profit of ₹6.5 crore compared to a ₹19.6 crore loss in the year-ago quarter. Operating revenue surged 124% year-on-year to ₹91.3 crore, up from ₹40.8 crore, driven by defence sector orders. Defence business contributed 72% of quarterly revenue, while civil applications accounted for 28%. The company generated an EBITDA profit of ₹23.2 crore with margins rising to 25.4%. ideaForge entered FY27 with an order book exceeding ₹300 crore, having executed 50% in the first half of the fiscal.
