IG Defence Partners With Oman’s MSA Global For Drone Manufacturing

Indian defence-tech startup IG Defence, formerly IG Drones, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Oman-based MSA Global to explore the co-development and local manufacturing of drone and counter-drone systems. The exploratory agreement, signed during the India-Oman Defence Industry Cooperation Seminar in Muscat, aims to cater to Oman and the Gulf Cooperation Council region. Discussions will focus on three indigenous systems: the KAL one-way attack drone with a 1,000-kilometre range, the BAJ unmanned aerial interceptor, and the JWALA micro-missile counter-drone platform. The pact aligns with India’s broader push to expand international defence technology exports.
