IIIT Hyderabad and NPCI Partner to Advance Digital Payments Cybersecurity

The International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT-Hyderabad) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to strengthen cybersecurity across India’s digital payments infrastructure. Led by IIIT Hyderabad's Cyber Manthan Center under director Professor Sandeep K Shukla, the collaboration focuses on joint research and development in digital forensics, trusted infrastructure, and emergent cybersecurity risks. NPCI Managing Director and CEO Dilip Asbe stated that the initiative unites academic research with industry expertise to foster capacity building and develop specialized talent for securing India's digital transactions ecosystem.
