Indian cleantech startups raised $433 million across 23 deals in Q3 2026, up significantly from $118 million in Q3 2025, according to Inc42 data. The surge was driven primarily by electric mobility companies, which accounted for nearly 69% of sector funding. Major deals included River raising $120 million in a Series C round led by Elev8 Venture Partners, Yulu securing $93 million, and Ultraviolette bagging $85 million. Simple Energy also raised $180 million in late September, highlighting strong investor demand for commercially viable clean technology businesses.
