Indian AI Startup Funding Jumps 265% to $438 Million in Q3

Funding for Indian artificial intelligence startups surged 265% year-on-year to reach $438 million across 35 deals in the July-September quarter, according to Inc42’s Tech Startup Funding Report. This took total funding for Indian AI ventures past $1.1 billion across the first nine months of the year, up sharply from $162 million in the prior-year period. In contrast, overall Indian tech startup funding grew just 5% year-on-year to $2.2 billion across 210 deals. While sectors like fintech and ecommerce saw funding declines, cleantech and advanced deeptech hardware segments also recorded robust investor demand.
