Leading Indian payment platforms showcased autonomous AI agents for merchants at the Global Fintech Fest 2026, transitioning AI from assistants into operational decision-makers. BharatPe launched an Agentic AI assistant powered by Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise to manage disputes, reconciliations, and credit recommendations. PayU introduced Agent HQ, Cashfree rolled out Relay for operations, Razorpay introduced RAY on WhatsApp, and Pine Labs enabled automated transaction completion for L&T Finance. The shift aims to automate settlement tracking, dispute resolution, refund processing, and chargeback claims without manual intervention.
