Speaking at the 17th edition of TechSparks, Stripe India Managing Director Manish Maheshwari highlighted that Indian startups can now build globally competitive businesses from day one due to rapid advances in artificial intelligence. Maheshwari noted that platforms like Stripe Atlas have seen a fourfold increase in Indian businesses collecting cross-border payments across more than 100 countries over five years. Citing examples like audio platform Pocket FM crossing $500 million in ARR and Emergent hitting $100 million in ARR within eight months, he urged founders to leverage existing payment infrastructure rather than engineering redundant billing layers.
