Indian Startups Clocked ₹3 Lakh Cr Revenue In FY26: Report

The Indian startup ecosystem expanded significantly in FY26, with 80 tracked new-age tech companies generating ₹3 Lakh Cr in operating revenue, up 44.5% from ₹2.07 Lakh Cr in FY25, according to Inc42's Financial Tracker. During the year, 22 startups went public compared to 13 in FY25. Profitability remained uneven: 57 startups reported a collective net profit of ₹12,841 Cr, while 23 posted a cumulative loss of ₹20,007.1 Cr. Despite fourth-quarter headwinds from geopolitical uncertainty, cost rationalisation helped over 71% of tracked startups maintain profitable operations.
