Venture capital funding into Indian startups reached $187 million across 16 deals between August 15 and August 21, up from $146 million in the prior week. The momentum was largely driven by Sachin Bansal’s Navi Limited, which secured $100 million from Prosus in its first institutional round. Other key transactions included data centre operator CtrlS raising Rs 250 crore from Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath and Sreeram Reddy Vanga, geospatial startup NeoGeoInfo Technologies raising $20 million from Neev II Fund and Aavishkaar Capital, and fintech startup Rezolv securing $12.5 million from Norwest, Vertex Ventures, and 3one4 Capital.
