Indian startups raise $198.33 million across 21 deals this week

Indian startups secured $198.33 million across 21 deals between August 17 and August 22, up from $151.5 million raised by 14 startups in the previous week. Growth-stage funding reached $118.3 million across three deals, led by fintech unicorn Navi raising $100 million from Prosus. Electric two-wheeler maker BGauss secured Rs 110 crore in a Series D round, while Butterfly Learnings raised Rs 65 crore led by Inflexor Ventures. Early-stage startups garnered $80.03 million across 14 deals, led by CtrlS with Rs 250 crore, including Rs 200 crore from Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath and Rs 50 crore from Sreeram Reddy Vanga.
