Indian startups secured $2.2 billion across 210 deals in Q3 2026, marking a 5% increase in capital deployment compared to $2.1 billion raised in Q3 2025, even as overall deal volume fell 13%. Active investor participation contracted 24% year-on-year to 511 firms, signaling increased selectivity. Venture debt providers dominated activity, with Stride Ventures leading all investors by executing 38 deals, followed by Alteria Capital with 31 transactions. Among equity venture firms, 3one4 Capital led with 19 investments, while Zerodha's Rainmatter, IvyCap Ventures, and Antler recorded 16, 15, and 14 funding deals respectively.
