Indian startup funding grew 5% year-on-year to $2.2 billion across 210 deals in Q3 2026, according to Inc42's tech startup report. While funding rose from $2.1 billion in Q3 2025, overall deal volume dropped 13% from 240 deals, reflecting cautious venture capital deployment. The quarter saw two new unicorns—Emergent and Astrotalk—and four mega deals exceeding $100 million. Active unique investors declined 24% year-on-year to 511. 3one4 Capital led deal volume with 19 transactions, followed by Zerodha's Rainmatter with 16 deals and IvyCap Ventures recording 15 investments.
