inDrive Partners with Pony.ai and Nvidia for 2027 Robotaxi Trials

Global mobility and ride-hailing platform inDrive has partnered with autonomous driving startup Pony.ai and semiconductor giant Nvidia to test robotaxis in Central Asia. Under the initiative, inDrive plans to commence autonomous vehicle trials in Kazakhstan’s capital city during the first half of 2027. The project aims to integrate Pony.ai’s self-driving technology with Nvidia’s compute infrastructure into inDrive’s global ride-hailing network. The move marks inDrive’s entry into autonomous mobility testing as ride-hailing companies worldwide accelerate efforts to commercialise driverless taxi services and reduce operational expenses across diverse international markets.
