Info Edge CEO Hitesh Oberoi Steps Down; Founder Sanjeev Bikhchandani Takes Over

Info Edge Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Hitesh Oberoi will step down from his full-time executive role on December 2, 2026, after nearly 27 years with the Naukri.com parent company. Founder Sanjeev Bikhchandani will take over as Executive Vice Chairman, Managing Director, and Group CEO starting December 3, 2026, with his term running until April 2031, subject to shareholder approval. Oberoi will transition to a Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director role on the board. During Oberoi's tenure of over 16 years as MD, Info Edge's market capitalisation expanded significantly from Rs 2,500 crore to Rs 80,000 crore.
