Info Edge Q2 Net Profit Jumps 87% to Rs 650 Crore

Info Edge, the parent company of recruitment portal Naukri, reported an 87.1% year-on-year surge in consolidated net profit to Rs 650 crore for the second quarter. Consolidated revenue from operations grew 12.2% to Rs 904 crore, up from Rs 806 crore in the year-ago period. Profitability was significantly bolstered by Rs 428 crore in other income from financial investment returns. Naukri remained the primary revenue driver, contributing Rs 653 crore, while real estate platform 99acres generated Rs 134 crore. The company’s board declared an interim dividend of Rs 3 per share.
