Infosys has confirmed that Lax Gopisetty, the chief executive of its subsidiary Infosys Public Services, is currently unreachable following catastrophic flash floods in Nepal. Gopisetty was visiting the region in a personal capacity. Infosys Public Services primarily caters to public sector clients across the United States and Canada. The Bengaluru-based IT giant stated that its immediate priority is ensuring his safety and well-being, while actively coordinating with relevant government and rescue agencies to establish contact. Over 320 Indian nationals remain missing following the devastating floods along the Nepal-Tibet border, while rescue efforts continue.
