Thane-based spacetech startup InspeCity has secured ₹100 crore ($10.4 million) in a pre-Series A funding round co-led by veteran investor Ashish Kacholia and Speciale Invest. The round also witnessed participation from Antler India, Shastra VC, alongside existing backers and angel investors. Founded in 2022 by Arindrajit Chowdhury and Tausif Shaikh, InspeCity develops in-orbit satellite servicing and deorbiting technologies. The fresh capital will fund four in-orbit space missions across the next 12 to 18 months, validate rendezvous and proximity operations, advance propulsion systems cleared by ISRO labs, and expand its engineering team.
