ixigo Posts ₹63.4 Cr Net Profit in Q2 FY27

Online travel aggregator ixigo reported a consolidated net profit of ₹63.4 crore for the second quarter of FY27, reversing a net loss of ₹3.5 crore in the year-ago period. Operating revenue increased 12.9% year-on-year to ₹321 crore from ₹284.2 crore. The bottom line was significantly aided by an exceptional gain of ₹40.7 crore resulting from a partial stake sale in electric bus startup Freshbus. In August, ixigo sold Freshbus shares worth ₹36.6 crore, reducing its stake from 25.66% to 8.27% and ending its associate company status.
