Vadodara-based traditional snack and sweets maker Jagdish Farshan has raised ₹43.5 crore ($4.6 million) in its Series A funding round led by Sharrp Ventures, the investment office of Marico founder Harsh Mariwala, alongside angel investors. Founded in 1938, this marks the 88-year-old brand’s first institutional fundraise. Jagdish Farshan plans to use the fresh capital to expand manufacturing capacity, widen retail distribution, and scale quick commerce operations across India. Currently running 27 retail outlets in Gujarat and two in North America, the company plans to open 30 to 40 additional stores over two years.
