AI initiative JanAI has teamed up with four universities—Presidency University, MAHE Bengaluru, RV College of Engineering, and the University of Liverpool's Bengaluru campus—to expand AI education and entrepreneurship in rural India. The partnership establishes a rural incubator, research hub, rural ambassador programs, and the Tech4Bharat mass entrepreneurship hackathon with GAVS. Founded by Madan Padaki, JanAI aims to connect academic research with grassroots needs, encouraging students to build scalable AI-driven solutions addressing challenges faced by rural communities and micro, small, and medium enterprises.
