Jio Platforms made a stellar stock market debut on the National Stock Exchange, listing at ₹1,419 per share—a 26.81% premium over its ₹1,119 issue price. The bumper listing pushed the company’s market capitalisation to ₹13.06 lakh crore, making it India’s second most valuable listed firm behind parent Reliance Industries, overtaking TCS and Bharti Airtel. The debut follows its massive ₹30,213-crore initial public offering, which was oversubscribed 22 times. Separately, PhysicsWallah’s School of Startups signed a two-year MoU with DPIIT to offer incubation, mentoring, and seed capital to early-stage ventures in Tier-II and Tier-III cities.
