JioHotstar Expands Streaming Presence to MENA Region via STARZPLAY

JioStar-owned streaming platform JioHotstar has expanded international operations to the Middle East and North Africa through a strategic partnership with regional streaming platform STARZPLAY. JioHotstar will feature as a dedicated destination within STARZPLAY, offering Indian originals, regional television programming, and films across languages like Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Bangla. Subscriptions are priced at AED 34.99 ($9.5) monthly for the entertainment tier and AED 49.99 ($13.6) monthly with sports. The launch follows JioHotstar’s recent international rollout across the United Kingdom, Canada, and Singapore, targeting large non-resident Indian communities.
