JioHotstar Expands to MENA Region via Partnership with Starzplay

OTT platform JioHotstar has expanded its international footprint into the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) through a partnership with streaming service Starzplay. The expansion follows JioHotstar's recent rollouts across the UK, Canada, and Singapore. Audiences in MENA will gain access to JioHotstar Originals simultaneously with their India releases, alongside television content, films, and reality franchises from JioStar TV channels. Content will be available across up to 10 Indian languages, with a dedicated focus on a substantial Malayalam catalogue to serve the region's large South Asian diaspora community.
