Karnataka Invites Startups and Global Tech Firms to Build Quantum City

The Karnataka government has invited global technology companies, startups, and investors to help develop its proposed 'Quantum City' hub for deep-tech innovation and industry collaboration. Speaking at a roundtable on Space, Mobility, and Drones, Science & Technology Minister Ajay Dharam Singh urged innovators to co-create the state's deep-tech ecosystem across quantum tech, spacetech, dronetech, and artificial intelligence. The state is leveraging its Space Technology Policy 2025-30, aiming to capture 50% of India's space market and 5% of the global market by 2033, while seeking $3 billion in investments and training 50,000 skilled professionals.
